Mrs Manuela Peralta Dies at 76 in August
Mrs Manuela B Peralta 76 died Tuesday August 25 after rosary services were held Wednesday at Heather Chapel. Mass was said Thursday at St Josephs Catholic Church and burial followed in Shakespeare Cemetery. A full obituary will be published next week.

The Old Timers parade titled Legends of the West will be held next Friday morning September 4 with a 10 30 start. Entries must register at the Chamber of Commerce for four floats or individuals. Car overturns on Interstate 10 kills child and injures four
A six year old child died and four family members were injured when their car overturned about 21 miles west of Lordsburg on Interstate 10 around 6 45 am. Bonnie Jean Dugan died at Hidalgo General Hospital from severe head injuries.
