At the state GOP convention in New Mexico delegates and alternates outlined a plan to reapportion party seats to as many as 22 by 1976. Dr. Thomas Prescott of Tucumcari and others voiced support for Nixon and outlined youth outreach and campaign plans as Prescott’s son Mike joined as a young delegate at the national gathering.
