Lordsburg Lions and Lionesses held a formal yet informal gala at the Women’s Club Tuesday honoring Past Lion President A. B. Bowman and new President L. B. Johinson. The event featured an improvised but superb musical program, a top notch menu with two whole turkeys, and notable participants including Lion President Robinson and Lion Secretary Austin.

Tom Gee Funeral Held in Clovis Christian Church
Funeral services for Tom Gee were held last Wednesday in Clovis at the Christian Church with the Christian Minister officiating. Four daughters attended. two were delayed by transport. Lordsburg friends sent many floral tributes. Tom, driving his own car, reportedly suffered a stroke causing a crash into a truck. the car did not overturn. He had just bought a ranch near St Vrain and was en route there when the tragedy occurred. Mrs Gee and the four daughters receive deep sympathy from friends across the region.
