He was a Spanish War veteran born July 4, 1866 and leaves widow Luella, son Capt. John S. Clark in California, daughter Mrs. Mary C. Jones. Funeral held at Fort Bayard soldiers cemetery under Santa Rita Masonic Lodge. many Lordsburg friends extend sympathy.

Fluorspar Specimens Shown by Local Mine Manager
A. L. Mason of Indian Metals Co. presented three fluorspar samples to the Chamber of Commerce this week. Two high grade specimens from new mines north and south of Lordsburg assay better than 9 percent. The third sample is from the Harper fluorspar mine near Red Rock, Bay War Bonds and Stamps today.
