Man Killed Tuesday on Highway 70 in New Mexico
John F. Donavan, 50, a Los Angeles resident and retired Army officer, died after his car swerved and struck a McWay transport truck on Highway 70 near the city. His body was moved to Fort Bliss for burial after services. Mrs Donavan and family members were en route to Hidalgo County Hospital where his wife lies critically injured.
