Mrs Smart’s departure prompts plans for Mrs A E Brown to redo her house. Mrs Lynch improves and ponders her next Silver City trip.
The Officers Wives luncheon hosted a Halloween theme with orange and black color schemes and small pumpkins with candles on the tables. The page also notes the funeral of W. B. Dr and Mrs C Paul Austin returned from a month long vacation in San Francisco and were en route to their Morenci home. Dr Austin remains chief physician and surgeon at the Phelpa Dodge Corporation.
