Lordsburg on Southern Air Mail Route From Frisco to El Paso

Lordsburg will be included on a new southern air mail route running from San Francisco to El Paso with stops at Yuma and Tucson. Bids are to be sought before January 1, with operation starting early next year. The route may include San Francisco Los Angeles Yuma Tucson Lordsburg Albuquerque and El Paso.

Former hotel worker killed in Roswell shooting tragedy

W T Dohorty Mosley, a former hotel plumber from Lordsburg, died after being shot in Roswell by Re L Walker. Mosley had moved to Toewell for work and died shortly after. Mosley’s wife, a restaurant waitress in Roswell, was involved but not gravely harmed. Walker confessed to the shooting at the county jail.
