Lordsburg Mavericks suffered a 39-0 loss to Class A power Cobre Indians in Bayard last Friday night. Two Men Arrested on Narcotic Charges
City county and state officers arrested Fred Carillo Florez 29 and Frank Ybarra Rodriguez 26 last Saturday afternoon two miles west of town on Interstate 10. Florez faces DWI reckless driving and possession of narcotics. Rodriguez is charged with aiding and abetting a DWI and possession of narcotics. Bond set at 5000 each for narcotics charges and 100 each for lesser charges. Both jailed in lieu of bond.
