Emotions ran high at the class reunion for the 1920s 30s and 40s with alumni meeting at the Civic Center 246 registered for the event. the 1920 class boasted 100 percent attendance with Eunice Williams Baker and James Wells traveling farthest from Cocoa Beach Florida and Cocoa Beach resident Mrs Baker.

NMSU To Hold Education Classes Here

The Dona Ana Branch of New Mexico State University will sponsor two basic education courses for adults in Lordsburg during the current school year. English as a second language and GED Preparation will be taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Dugan-Tarango Middle School. The first class meetings and registration are Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. No enrollment fee.
