Sheriff's Posse Opens Calf Roping Fundraiser Lights At Fairgrounds
Hidalgo County Sheriff's Posse has installed flood lights at the county fair grounds and hosts calf roping events to raise funds. The first event drew many ropers, with Walter Nichols winning the A class and Sammy Edington the B class. The next calf roping is set for Sunday night June 15 at 8 o'clock, featuring roping for the belt buckle with Nichols and Edington, plus Levi Bradberry in the B class.
