Maria Sanchez Services Held At St. Joseph's
Maria Florez Sanchez born August 15 1884 died May 5 at age 102. She married Mecedonio Sanchez in Durango Mexico and was mother of 13 children 60 grandchildren 104 great grandchildren and 43 great great grandchildren. Services were held at St Joseph's Catholic Church with interment at Shakespeare Cemetery. City Street Paving Gets Underway
The Co op street paving project funded by their agencies and the City of Lordsburg is under way and on schedule. Phase one applies a chip seal to Airport Road with base course being laid now and chip sealing planned for the week of May 18. After Airport Road, paving will extend to the Cactus Drive extension.

Pool Repairs Set for May Opening at City Pool
