Rosemary Alvarez is the 1987 valedictorian at Lordsburg High School with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Virgil Oliver Burtcher aged 70 and long time Lordsburg resident died May 15 in Idaho Falls Idaho. Caldwell Funeral Home Safford conducted the May 20 service. Survived by mother Nellie Burtcher Lordsburg sister Edith E Johnson Concho Arizona and children Judith L Valentin Blackfoot Idaho Barbara Millward Pocatello Idaho Bruce M Burtcher Flagstaff Arizona and twenty two grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
