High Speed Chase Ends In Accident
A multi-agency pursuit on I-10 from mile 370 in Arizona to mile 14 in New Mexico ended when Wayne B. Thomas, 26, of Lamarque Texas lost control near Lordsburg. He struck a fence and hit another vehicle while traveling at speeds up to 110 mph. Thomas was hospitalized. Hidalgo and Arizona authorities filed DWI, failure to yield, and reckless driving charges with other possible out of state counts.
