Thomas Foy To Address Lordsburg High Graduates

Thomas Foy, a former WWII POW and prior district attorney, will deliver the keynote address at Lordsburg High School graduation. Invocation is by Emil Herzog, with principal Phil De Foor introducing Foy. Valedictorian Manuel Cortez and Salutatorian Lily Wong will speak. numerous students honored.

Demo Delegates To Be Chosen In Hidalgo County

A Democratic Party meeting is set for Thursday May 24 at 7 p.m. in the Hidalgo County Courthouse Commissioners Meeting Room to select delegates for the State Convention on June 9 in Albuquerque. Also noted is the death of Mr Ludvig Ribich father of Lois Saucedo who died May 9 at his home in Chisholm Minnesota. He enjoyed visiting Lordsburg and made many friends.
