Projections show 39 K 6 and 39 7 12 students plus 2 in special education. resignations from Pam Callaway Adams and Lucy May were accepted. Operation Prom praised. CPR class proposal for grades 7 12 discussed. sixteen applicants for Elementary Principal met criteria.

Charles N Williams Dies in Albuquerque After Long Illness
Charles N Williams longtime Lordsburg resident died at V A Hospital Albuquerque on April 27 1991 after a long illness. Services and burial were at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors by D A V Santa Fe. He was born August 17 1918 in Electra Texas and served in World War II including the 200th and 515th Coast Artillery, a POW for 3 1/2 years. He owned C and E Auto Parts and held several local posts. He is survived by his wife Eva two daughters two sisters two brothers four grandchildren and other relatives. Arrangements through Vista Verde Mortuary Rio Rancho.

Lifeguard Training Planned in Deming This Spring
A lifeguard course will be held in Deming with registration at the Deming Public Pool on Saturday May 11 at 1 PM.
