Two Injured In Auto Collision Near All-State Courts
Two women were hospitalized after a two car collision at 8 a m Tuesday in front of the All-State Courts on East Highway 70-80. Clare G Werner 66 Ironton Ohio drove a station wagon that turned from the curb lane into the path of Domin go P Sipin 32 New Orleans Louisiana. Sipin sustained a broken nose and a dislocated neck and was taken to William Beaumont Hospital El Paso. Lydia Cooper a passenger in the Werner car was treated for a fractured collar bone at Hidalgo County Hospital. The crash was investigated by Lt Frank Aguilera and Patrolman Manuel De La Garza.

Johnny Kemp a ten year old North Dakota boy born without hands or feet has been named 1960 National Easter Seal child by the National Society for Crippled Children and Adults. He was fitted with artificial legs and hands and plays baseball with better than average school grades. Mrs George Stone says Hidalgo County keeps 66 percent of Easter Seal funds while 8.3 percent supports the nationwide program and 2 percent backs national research.
