Lordsburg Man Killed In Shooting

Thomas B. Williams. 31, of Lordsburg, was shot and killed at his home on East 10th Street around 2 a.m. Betty Williams, 28, also of Lordsburg, was taken into custody with the shooting. Sheriff Gene Moore said the investigation is ongoing and Williams died at Hidalgo General Hospital.

Canadian Doctor Plans Lordsburg Practice Opening

Dr. Henri Wetselaar of Vancouver expects to open an office in Lordsburg in about four weeks if all papers pass and he receives his New Mexico license promptly. A in his forties and graduate of the University of Amsterdam he has 16 years of Canadian private practice and recently spent two months with the Canadian Government in the Arctic.
