Retirement Ranch of Lordsburg Closes After Cash Runs Out
The Retirement Ranch of Lordsburg, opened in August, closed Tuesday with 18 patients and about 50 full time clients needed to break even. HADACO owner Hidalgo Area Development Corp seeks a new operator as occupancy doldrums and slow SBA financing hindered operations. A skeleton crew remains while a new tenant is sought for the 80 capacity facility offering three levels of elderly care.
