District Judge George W. Hay accompanied by former Judge Carl P. Duniton District Attorney W B Walton and Mrs Walton came from Silver City for a short session. The main note was His Honor wearing a new spring business suit that looked very worn and dirty.

Hubert Paton rode from Portland Oregon toward New York and reached Lordsburg at the week's start. He left February 17 and expects to reach New York by late April. The trip from Safford to Lordsburg took eight hours.
