Lordsburg Council Eyes Land Swap and Park Lease Deal
Lordsburg officials discussed a reciprocal deal with Justin Kipp at the March 10 meeting. Kipp would lease land near the fairgrounds for 20 years in exchange for a 20 year lease of the baseball park area and plans to erect billboards to promote local businesses. The council also considered an abandonment of property for a three sided street, fence addition, and water line work funding for cemeteries while addressing exit lighting upgrades funded by the state.
