Accident Claims Life Of Bednorz In Early Morning Crash
Two Deming residents were in a single vehicle crash on I-10 three miles west of Deming just after midnight. Bednorz died at the scene and Botzko was injured. Funeral services for Bednorz are set for Friday March 11 at 2 p.m. Heather Mortuary handling arrangements.

Services Held For Maude Stanfield
Graveside services were held at Mountain View Cemetery for Maude Stanfield on March 2, 1983. She died February 28 at Hillcrest Hospital in Silver City at age ninety three. Stanfield resided in Lordsburg for 47 years and is survived by daughter Edith McMarran of Lordsburg and son Lee Polk of Yulee Florida, six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
