The Horseshoe Ranch once owned by the widow of T. K. Pearson was sold to Lunt and Gruell of Duncan. John B. Crowell of Douglas arranged the deal while A W Morningstar represented Mrs Pearson who has moved to Lordsburg. The ranch is famed for cattle fruit flowers and hospitality.

Gila Project Seeks Permits for 50000 H P Power Plants

An Associated Press dispatch reports TH Woods seeks a preliminary permit for five storage reservoirs and power plants on the Gila river in Hidalgo and Grant counties New Mexico. He plans 1000 horsepower for mining and smelting and public utilities. The Oct filing was rejected due to a conflict with an Alum corporation permit later cancelled.
