Five Better Government slate sweeps Lordsburg election
The five member Better Government ticket won all four year and two year seats in Lordsburg defeating incumbents and appointive candidates. Collins, Smith, Alvarez, Hill and Ramirez seized Ward 1 to Ward 4 seats with margins from 181 to 579 votes. The slate tops include Ramirez and Smith both with Phelps Dodge ties. Lordsburg to Put City Utilities Under State PSC Authority
