The Graham Stake holds its second annual father and son outing Friday and Saturday seven miles above Lodge on the Coronado. Committees plan campsite assignments and a community feed. City awards pipe contract amid bid process in Lordsburg
Lordsburg awarded a pipe purchase of one to four inch ax pipe valued around $21,000 to Smith Pipe after direct bids from seven wholesalers. An $80,000 bond issue was submitted to Boettcher and Co of Denver. State Budget Auditors approved the proposed budget for the coming fiscal year totaling $386,896 for gas, $60,000 for water, and $106,864 for general fund. The new fiscal year begins July 1.
