Mrs. Susan Cosper Laid To Rest In Douglas
Mrs. Susan Cosper died last Wednesday night after a week in Lordsburg Hospital. She was about 84 and lived on various southern county ranches since 1922. She traveled by buggy until her burros died. Heather Mortuary handled arrangements until nephew by marriage Hadley of Pierce, Arizona had the body laid to rest in Douglas beside her husband.

Mrs Jarvis Van Noy daughter of Mr and Mrs A T Johnson of Animas died in Los Angeles and was brought to Lordsburg for a funeral from the Baptist Church with Rev L D Cochran officiating. Pallbearers included Coyt Hackett and Walter Dunagan. She leaves a husband and wide kinship in Animas. She joined the Church of Christ in 1927 and was buried at Mountainview cemetery.
