TA Workshop Set For Silver City Meeting
A one day Parent Teachers Association workshop will be held at the Teacher Education Center in Silver City on Wednesday June 17 starting at 10 a.m. The event includes nominating and by laws committees with groups forming at 11 to address issues led by Mrs Wesley Free burg and Dave Warren of Lordsburg. Afternoon discussions encourage all officers and chairmen to attend and bring their manuals as the PTA aims to restart in the new school year.

Hall Returns to USS Bon Homme Richard Duties
Allen D Hall gunner's mate third class USN son of Mr and Mrs Allen M Hall of Lordsburg returned to duties with the Seventh Fleet in the Far East aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard after a tour with Concord Squadron in the Indian Ocean. The carrier group conducted an operational and goodwill cruise visiting ports in Kenya Madagascar and the British Port of Aden.
