City to raze buildings and clear vacant lots in cleanup push

The City of Lordsburg will form a crew next week to tear down unsafe buildings and remove rubbish from vacant lots, also targeting abandoned vehicles. Officials will survey structures posing public safety hazards and notify owners. The paving project will focus on A Street from Circle H to the Power Plant with 44000 dollars left.

Hidalgo man jailed on multiple charges after rodeo incident

Hidal Iglo of Detroit Michigan was arrested in Rodeo on disorderly conduct criminal damage and inhaling paint thinner. He is serving 30 days in Hidalgo County Jail. Leslie Kevin Billings 19 of Duncan was arrested for resisting an officer criminal damage and being served. Bond set at 1600. he is free after posting. All were arraigned before Magistrate Salinas per Sheriff Darnell.

Arredondo Aranda Plans August Wedding

Mr and Mrs Samuel Arredondo of Playas announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Bonita Bonnie Arredondo Aranda to Robert Aranda of Deming.
