A special meeting is scheduled Tuesday July 28 1959 at 7 30 p.m. at Legion Hall where members are urged to attend.

City Sued Over Unpaid Employer Retiree Fees
John C. Hays executive secretary of the Public Employees Retirement Board files a district court complaint against the City of Lordsburg for failing to pay the employer's share for city employees not including police. The amount pleaded is 4254.77 plus 5 percent interest from Sept 1, 1958 to May 3, 1959. The suit asserts the city did budget for these payments.
