New statewide rules from the United States Public Health Service Ordinance take effect June 25 1942 requiring higher sanitation standards, proper wash and sterilization of equipment, and stricter compliance to protect the consuming public amid wartime migrations.

Paul Hudson returns from the Hudson ranch twenty two miles north of Mekrone between Ft Sumner and Clovix.
