Warrants Issued For Two Local Women Wednesday
Felony warrants were issued in magistrate court in Lordsburg on Wednesday afternoon July 12 for the arrest of Debbie Ashley 20 and Lori Ashley 18 both of Lordsburg for burglary of a residence. The Harris residence was entered and a number of plants and other items were taken. Police seek the sisters in Las Cruces.

Two Car Mishap Injures Two Area Women On Sunday
A two car crash at the I-10 and Main underpass Sunday night left Mrs. Norma Badders of Lordsburg and Mrs. Nellie Menares of Duncan with head injuries and transported to Hillcrest Memorial Hospital in Silver City. The incident, which saw one vehicle roll twice, was investigated by Lordsburg police and Hidalgo County deputies. An ambulance rushed both women to care, with Menares also suffering arm abrasions.
