Coronado Highway Dedication At Hannagan Meadows

N J Scott of Scott Auto Co and Mrs Scott attended the Coronado Highway dedication at Hannagan's Meadows 70 miles north of Clifton. Scott called the route a wonderful mountain road though narrow and risky for careless drivers, noted hundreds of Ford cars, and cited plans to connect with major highways. The event drew visitors from 45 states, featured Indian dances, and even a roaming bear sighting.

The Sesquicentennial was opened Monday morning at the Star Theatre with Robt Briel Clairman furnishing the venue. Morningstar called the meeting to order as bells tolled for one minute.
