Magistrate Rosa Lina Salinas finally receives a refurbished workspace after five years of housing in a library room and jail quarters. The 205 E. 2nd St. office now features new upholstery, desks, shelves, and a copy machine, replacing prior improvised furnishings. December saw court activity totaling over 10 000 dollars in fines, costs, and bonds forfeited, predominantly from trucking firms at the Port of Entry. Salinas was rated the second best magistrate court outside Albuquerque by the Administrative Office of Courts of New Mexico last year.

Petition Seeks City Utilities Referendum in Lordsburg
