Mothers March of Dimes Set for January 31 in Evening Drive
Mrs. Bob Williams will head the Mothers March of Dimes on Monday January 31 from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. Houses should have porch lights on and dogs tied during the half hour while committees from last year lead the drive. Last year the group raised over 500 dollars in the main drive and 250 in a later special drive as polio tolls rose.

Lordsburg Freshmen Raise Funds With March of Dimes Relay
The Freshman Class of Lordsburg High School collected well over 200 dollars for the March of Dimes in four and a half days. They stood on a street corner near a red light Tuesday to Saturday soliciting motorists with a relay method. Weather was poor but dedication remained. Permission was granted by school officials with hours limited from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
