Hospital Receives Incubator From Legion Support
Commander Cassie Martinez and Hidalgo County American Legion Post members helped deliver an E J incubator to the county hospital. The unit features automatic temperature and humidity control plus a nebulizer. Funds were raised since last November and the incubator was presented on January 11 to hospital superintendent Mrs Palmer with Ray Hernandez Harold Bishop and Bob Williams pictured nearby.

Mavericks Break Even in Weekend Basketball Play

Traffic Accident Damages Two Cars
An accident on State Highway 14 nineteen miles west of Lordsburg last Thursday afternoon January 13 left two cars badly damaged. The 1952 Mercury towing a 1952 Ford caused a whip effect when braking. the Mercury jackknifed and overturned while the Ford left the pavement but stayed upright. No injuries were reported.
