Damage Suit Filed In Texas 65th District Court
Mr and Mrs Victor Perez of burg file suit in Texas 65th District Court seeking 56860 for injuries from a tractor trailer incident on November 19 on Hi Way 90 between Alpine and . The suit names Finney Randall Nep Johnson as defendants alleging being cut off and forced from the highway. Mrs Perez suffered pelvic injuries and a wrist injury. Perez is a former employee of Northern Pacific Railroad.

Harry Wallace Funeral Services Held Monday
Funeral services for Harry Charles Wallace were held at Heather Chapel on Monday afternoon January 18, with Rev. Arthur Shaw officiating. He was born November 23 1880 in Waynesboro Virginia and died January 13 after a short illness. Survivors include his wife Ida Wallace three daughters Ruth Pagones Grace Merritt of California Hazel Ellison of Lordsburg and three sons Boyd Blythe Lloyd and Ralph Craig plus two grandchildren. Pallbearers named and honorary pallbearers listed. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Local officer seizes Indiana fugitive runaway in speed stop
City police arrested James Frankel Efroymson age 24 of Indianapolis Indiana after speeding through Lords Derby Street. He produced a license expired in June 1955 and no vehicle registration. Indiana authorities reported he was an escapee from Central State Hospital. The car belonged to his father and was taken without permission. the father planned to retrieve the car and son.

Installation of New Officers Led by Eastern Star Chapter 21
