Ethel Mae Zeigler Rites Are Held in Lordsburg Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Mae Zeigler wife of William Zeigler were held at the Church of Christ on Tuesday January 16 with Charles Fogliassy minister. She was born March 10 1888 in Hardin Illinois and married May 14 1909. Survived by her husband daughter Mrs. Lee Pries and three grandchildren. She lived in Lordsburg four years. Jack Heather and Son supervised by Knights of Pythias served as funeral directors and casket bearers. Interment was in Mountainview cemetery.

The unit received a service plaque from General Walter Kreuger for building three airstrips in 23 days amid coral runway challenges.
