Lordsburg High Set Semester Exams Schedule

Lordsburg High School announces exams for January 12 and 13. Thursday will cover periods 1, 3, and 5, while Friday covers periods 2, 4, and 6. Afternoons are for teacher work time. Students with three or fewer absences and a C average are excused from finals.

New State Policeman Assigned In Lordsburg

Robert Nelson a 27 year old Albuquerque native has been assigned to Lordsburg replacing Jim Sides who moves to Las Cruces Nelson a 1978 graduate of the New Mexico State Police Academy and his wife Joan now reside at 604 E Second Street with fellow officer Dan Harris Nelson says he and Joan like Lordsburg and expect to enjoy living there.

Local Ambulance Service Holds Ground Amid Hospital Closure

Hidalgo Emergency Ambulance report shows 28 emergency runs since the hospital shut, averaging about one a day.
