Mrs Mary Eddy resigned from her post as cashier at the Community Public Service Company after a year and a half of service. Don Johnson Lordsburg manager announced that a successor has not yet been chosen. Eddy is the former Mary McDaniel, daughter of Arch and Mrs McDaniel of Red Rock.

Mrs Josephine Gray has resigned her clerk position after 11 years service at the post office. Postmaster Gene Montague announced she joined the staff in April 1935. Her husband Louie Gray works for Southern Pacific between Lordsburg and El Paso as brakeman and extra conductor. Bobby Williams, son of Mr and Mrs C M Williams of Lordsburg, has joined the post office and was previously a sub clerk at Silver City.
