The deadline to register motor vehicles to avoid a penalty is March 2. David Arioste, commissioner of the Motor Vehicle Department, noted the Lords burg office is in good condition and registration rates are ahead of average. Manuel Silva cited Hidalgo County distribution: $54,103.55 to the road fund, $5,744.65 to schools, $8,069.27 to City road fund, $738.52 to City general fund, and about $3,500 from driver license sales to the City.

Electricity Outage Planned for CPS Area Sunday
