Former Lordsburg Man Shot in Hunting Accident
Blaine Morrison, former Lordsburg resident and art teacher, was accidentally shot by W. J. Moore while bear hunting near the Hatchett Mountains. Morrison, hit in the head and concussed, received surgery in Albuquerque and is recovering. Moore pleaded guilty to careless rifle handling, fined fifty dollars, and lost hunting privileges for ten years.
