Los Pastores Christmas Pageant Set for St Joseph’s
The Los Pastores del Valle de la Mesilla group from Las Cruces will stage the ancient Christmas morality play Los Pastores at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Sunday December 14 at 6:00 p.m. The free production features 60 to 80 cast members plus about 30 behind the scenes staff, spanning three generations and over a century of family involvement in the tradition.

A 6th District Court ruling sets Rolfe Estate Fund scholarships at 1500 for Lordsburg High graduates funded by a 53000 principal with earnings used for awards. The 9th Annual Tree Festival of the Animal Ward LDS Church in Cotton City runs Thursday December 11 1986 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event features about 35 decorated trees from Animas Lordsburg Playas Rodeo San Simon and Portal, with a bread shop gingerbread room and expanded gingerbread room. Local talent musical program, free refreshments and a free cookbook are offered. No admission charged and all are invited. Children entertainment provided.
