Lordsburg will soon have Christmas decorations on various utility poles. Glenn Dorsett, chamber of commerce manager, said the city will install them early next week. Merchants funded the decorations and the chamber coordinates the effort with the city. The street placement will be decided with the city, and the city pays for the electricity used.

Lordsburg senior citizens enjoyed a hot Thanksgiving dinner at the Community Center on Tuesday November 25 with 42 attendees. The blessing was given by Rev. Johnny R. Mansell, and mayor pro tem Harold Jorgenson spoke. Turkey was donated by Eddie Diaz and guests brought covered dishes.
