Woman Killed In Weekend Traffic Collision
A Hidalgo County traffic death toll rose to five as Joan Margaret Ratley died in a head on crash one mile west of Lordsburg on Highway 60. The Ford Thunderbird driven by Mrs Ratley collided with Charles Bellville's truck from McKeesport Pennsylvania after veering from its lane. Lt Donald Ratley and his wife were en route east on Highway 869 when the accident occurred.
