Cowboy injures horse rider in White Signal incident
James McCauley son of J L Mc Cauley White Signal was seriously injured when a horse fell on him. He sustained a broken pelvis and two leg fractures and was taken to Lordsburg hospital for X rays and setting bones. He faces six weeks to three months in hospital. Morris Rendal, brother of Mrs J R Schwarz, died August 4 in Los Angeles after years of illness.

Shirts Recovered After Deming Box Car Break-In
About 50 suspects tied to a box car theft in the Deming yards were rounded up with Sheriff Conner Chief Deputy Morris Joe Sanchez and Jack Vinmeon aiding. Stolen shirts were traced to Mike Ortez who was on parole for murder. A second set of shirts and goods was found in Deming.

Chief Cochran Dies After Ranch Accident
