Belton Texas Miss Betty Lu George of Lordsburg New Mexico has been chosen as the 1947 48 recipient of the Fannie B Davis Scholarship to Mary Hardin Baylor college. The award honors Mrs. Davis a former student and organizer of the Texas Baptist Woman's Missionary Union. Miss George, born 1929 in Honey Grove Texas, plans missionary study and has been active in church youth groups.
