Brothers’ Fatal Beating At Camp Stuns County
Barney Alexander killed his brother James Ben Alexander after a dispute over a light at a state road construction camp near town. James Riley Thomas, formerly of the Sanders ranch, died after a separate beating behind Wright's Bakery. In both cases, inquests found death from blunt force, with no suspect identified for the first killing.
