Washington April 21 Motor vehicle fuel users may deduct state gasoline taxes on federal income tax if the vehicle is used for business. Solicitor Gregg of the Internal Revenue Bureau ruled that Maryland Virginia and the District of Columbia taxes qualify. Bisbee April 22 The Calumet and Arizona Mining company has entered into an agreement with A G McGregor to build a miniature plant at its Douglas emeller to test a new ore selling process. McGregor developed the method called pyritic smelting which, if successful, could cut ovens and much machinery and save labor about 50 percent. The experiment will run at the C A plant in Douglas.
