Metropolitan Opera Star Sings for Fort Bayard Patients
Metropolitan Opera Baritone Robert Weede of New York visited Fort Bayard on a Saturday in April as a volunteer entertainer. He performed for about half an hour on each ward and gave a concert in the Auditorium that night broadcast to bed patients via the Wardcasting System. Weede, with pianist Miss Richardson of New York, sang Old English Ballads and served as host, to the appreciation of patients, management, and staff.
