Avon lacrosse honors Luke Allen in candlelight funeral
The Avon community gathered at Avon Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet Stadium for a candlelight vigil honoring Luke Allen, an Avon High School senior who died April 13 after falling from a car running board during a game of tag. Friends and family described him as energetic, joyful, and caring, with a life dedicated to lifting others. The lacrosse team and school officials spoke of his impact and urged others to live positively in his memory.
