Sharing Christmas seeks volunteers to deliver meals
Christina Jolliffe reports Sharing Christmas needs 213 more volunteers to deliver meals to Lorain County on Christmas Day. Drivers handle two to three nearby addresses, with 719 meals delivered last year. Volunteers can also cook or clean. meals start at noon from Fields United Methodist Church and finish by 3:30 pm.

Wreaths honor fallen heroes at Lorain ceremony
Lorain County remembers service members who died in the War on Terror and the Vietnam War with a Saturday ceremony at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Elyria. Wreaths will be placed at the monument or area cemeteries after the Pearl Harbor Remembrance at the Washington Street Bridge. Kimberly Hazelgrove, a Gold Star Family member, will lead.
